At Sail & Protect, we understand that unexpected situations may arise. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide transparency and flexibility while ensuring the proper organization of our experiences, the availability of our boats, and the management costs associated with each booking.
The amount paid will be refunded, minus a 10% booking management fee based on the amount paid.
This fee covers booking administration, processing, and management services that have already been carried out and is therefore non-refundable.
No refund will be issued for any amounts paid.
If Sail & Protect is unable to provide the booked experience due to circumstances beyond our direct control, such as adverse weather conditions, external restrictions, force majeure, or any other situation that prevents the experience from being carried out safely, the customer will be offered one of the following options:
Reschedule the experience for another available date at no additional cost.
Enjoy the experience on a similar vessel, subject to availability.
If neither of the above options is possible, the amount paid will be refunded, minus a 10% booking management fee based on the amount paid.
If the experience cannot take place due to a reason directly attributable to Sail & Protect, such as a mechanical failure, unexpected maintenance, or any other internal circumstance preventing the service from being provided, the customer may choose between:
Rescheduling the experience for another available date at no additional cost.
Receiving a full refund of all amounts paid, with no deductions.
Requests to change the date of a booking must be made at least 15 days before the scheduled experience and are subject to availability.
If the requested change results in a price difference, the customer will be required to pay the corresponding amount.
Modification requests made 15 days or less before the scheduled experience may be declined by Sail & Protect and will not entitle the customer to any refund.
The safety of our guests and crew is our highest priority. The final decision regarding whether the experience will proceed, be modified, or be cancelled rests solely with the captain or an authorized representative of Sail & Protect.
If weather conditions do not allow safe navigation, the customer will be offered the opportunity to reschedule the experience at no additional cost, subject to availability.
Light rain, cloudy conditions, moderate wind, or any other weather conditions that, in the captain's professional judgment, still allow safe navigation shall not constitute valid grounds for cancellation or refund.
Failure to arrive at the agreed meeting point on the scheduled date and time without prior notice will result in the loss of all amounts paid, with no right to a refund or rescheduling.
Sail & Protect may, at its sole discretion, consider requests for cancellations or booking modifications outside the established timeframes. Any exception granted shall not constitute a precedent or create any obligation regarding future bookings.
By confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Cancellation Policy.
